Bullet journals are awesome but it can be quite daunting to start so I wanted to help you get yourself started by giving you a list of things that you can track in your bullet journal.
Health
A lot of people use their bullet journals to keep a track of their physical, mental and emotional health and that is SUCH a good use of a bujo. I use a mental health tracker to help with my therapy and I cannot tell you how much it’s helped!
If that’s what you’re looking to do, here are some ideas for you:
Physical Health
- Weight loss tracker
- Gym tracker
- Exercise tracker
- Exercise challenge tracker
- Sleep tracker
Mental Health
- Trigger tracker
- Medication tracker
- Appointment tracker
- Journal
- Mood tracker
- Emotion tracker
- Self-care ideas
Blogging
We all know that blogs are hard to keep track of, so having all your info together could be really helpful.
- Monthly stats
- Blog post ideas
- Sponsored post tracker
- Best posts of the month
- Best times to post
- Pinterest tracker
- Blog colours
- Costs
- Income
Household
- List of chores
- Last time I… (changed the sheets, mowed the grass etc)
- Regular cleaning products
What do you track in your journal? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you for writing this post. I always wanted to try a bullet journal, but I wasn’t sure how to use it or were to buy one. Do you have any recommendations for a brand for a first time user? Thank you for your time.
If you’re in the UK, then I have a bullet journal box business, but if you’re outside of the UK, then I recommend finding any dotted notebook to start with, then go on to a Scribbles That Matter notebook. I find these so much better than Leuchtturm because the pens don’t bleed through the paper.

Thank you for your recommendation!
This was a really helpful post considering I’m probably going to get a bullet journal lol! Thanks for sharing x
These are great ideas! I love using habit trackers in my journal, but kind of struggle to find ones that are relevant to me xx
That’s what’s so amazing about bullet journals – you can make them fit you. Whatever you want to track, you can create a tracker for it.
